Did you watch the video? His name at the beginning. . . Paul David Washer.

I saw that a few months ago too... It's such an important message for the Western church to hear. I posted it on my MySpace and Facebook. lol

It is a good message, but there are so many good messages and it seems to change very little. At least people in AL were even willing to listen here in SoCal he would be ignored. The church is very much like Israel was in the old testament constantly rebellion and ignoring Gods messages.

I think i had watched a bit of the beginning a bits of it but  obviously didn't take notice of the name.

Thank you for sharing this, Andrew. The world is an evil place, and sometimes I know I feel that it is hard to shine God's light, but bringing my focus back to Him and His light is all that matters. It's hard, and I can't do it on my own. In fact, I can't do it at all, but He can and does.

That's right, Chelsea. Even though the world is evil, full of temptations and all that junk, we have an edge: Jesus, the guy who faced every temptation and resisted every last one. Now, because we are in Him, HE supports us when we are tempted, so that we can stand just like Big Brother Jesus!

"For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." (Hebrews 4:15)

"For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour them that are tempted." (Hebrews 2:18)

This is true. I think these messages are ignored because we let them kinda sail over our heads. We think to ourselves: "Nah, that's not me! That's someone else I know."

That is why I love how this guy says to an applauding audience: "I don't know what you are clapping for. . . I'm talking about YOU."

When we start taking God seriously and personally, we will see change in our churches and in our very own lives.

Wow. He's very bold, but he's so right! All that "ask Jesus into your heart" nonsense has always bothered me because it's not in the scripture, and he's right - it's heresy. And when was the last time you heard someone talk about heresy?? He is SO RIGHT! Wow!

Well...I watched the first 4 min of it, then realized it was 40+ min. long. And I've gotta study today...too bad. What's up?! So fill me in, are you getting facebook soon then?
